Needle Felted Bee Hives
Come join us for a felting afternoon! It’s bound to BEE a fun workshop!!! We’ll be felting a hive with little bees and magically, they will all be made of wool. This class, suitable for both beginners and those who have some felting experience, will be stress free and we’ll have oodles of fun! I promise! We’ll discuss wool types, felting techniques and the difference in needle sizes and shapes. You will go home with a completed bee hive and some bees!!
All materials and supplies are included in the cost of the workshop.
Kathleen Gerdes, a fiber artist from Falmouth, loves teaching. Her passion for felting started 10 years ago and in that time, she has taught both needle felting and wet felting. She has taught at Portfiber in Portland, Camp Wool in Kennebunk (soon to be in Hollis), Fiber College in Searsport and at the West Springfield Fiber Festival in W. Springfield, Mass.
