Paw Protector Packaging  

Before, our paw protector for dogs were in eco-friendly tubes but proved to be messy and leaked more than we would have liked. With the new packaging, we have solved that problem and allow dog owners to protect their dog’s paws effectively and in a cleaner fashion.

The Proper Use for Paw Protectors

The best time to use Maine Street Bee’s Paw Protector is during the winter. Most of us have experienced at least one winter in Maine and in other northern locales with brutally cold temperatures and snow at any given time. As humans, our skin has trouble staying hydrated in the sub-zero temperatures and dog’s paws are no different, except their pads are in direct contact with snow and ice and frozen sidewalks crusted with road salt. The Paw Protector balm benefits paws by adding a protective layer against the buildup of snow on fur between toes and preventing cuts on pads caused from salt and ice. And don’t forget those delicate noses! They can’t help but be chapped from nosing around in the snow.

Keeping a tube around for summer is also a good idea. Soaring summer temps and burning pavement can be really painful for dog’s pads. And no worries about coming back home to furniture and rugs: our paw balm contains all-natural beeswax which allows the ingredients to be absorbed into the pads leaving no mess.

Lip Balm Packaging  

We talked to many of our customers and one of the biggest issues with our lip balm products was that the tubes just weren’t holding up. Maine Street Bee’s Beeswax Lip Balm users were finding that during the warmer months, or carrying a tube around in the warmth of pants pockets, the tubes would inevitably leak. So we went back to the drawing board and searched out a better compostable paperboard push-up tube that would prevent leaking and look fabulous. If you used and liked our creamy lip balm with the old tubes then you will LOVE using the same great balm with improved packaging.
